OTC value of derivatives is up 350% in past 8 years

The OTC (over-the-counter) derivatives market has been growing by leaps and bounds. In the past eight years the total value of outstanding OTC derivatives grew from $80 trillion to nearly $285 trillion at the end of 2005. That is a change of 350%.
